The circus is coming to town!
... or more accurately, 6 circuses are coming to town!
It's the 9th Tini Tinou International Circus Festival hosted by Phare, The Cambodian Circus and Phare Ponleu Selpak with support from the Ministry of Arts and Culture.
The aim of the festival is to share knowledge and art, between artists and with the local communities of Cambodia, with performance nights, street parades and workshops between international artists.
Tini Tinou (meaning ‘Here and There’) is a vibrant international circus festival held in various cities around Cambodia annually. Organised by Phare Performing Social Enterprise and the Phare Ponleu Selpak Association, the festival brings together artists from around the world, providing entertainment to the local communities as well as artistic exchange between dancers, musicians and circus artists. The intercultural relationships developed during the festival stimulates a unique opportunity for extended creativity and human development.
