Worried you may have missed all the fun and shenanigans of the festival season, perhaps didn’t dedicate enough of your summer to flow arts/spinning or learning because it rained far too much or maybe you'd just like to wrap up the summer with a liberal sprinkling of awesome? Here is your chance.

Flow Feast is an entire weekend of flow workshops in various props, dance and movement from noon Friday September 20th until noon Monday 23nd September 2013. You shall cross pollinate, you will have loads of fun. You can hone your flow!

For the sum of £160.00 we bring you a weekend retreat at The Karma Farm, a beautiful eco site just 6 miles north of Newmarket in Cambridgeshire, UK. We will be donating our profits (your ticket money) to Circus Charities who continue year on year bringing smiles to people less fortunate than ourselves and continue to be active players in the 'making people happy plan'.

We have a Yurt, Teepee, Marquees, Log Cabin, Barn, Camping, Parking, Showers and three (vegetarian) meals a day, play, fun, music & bacon. So all you have to do is get yourself here with your Glamping gear.

Don’t be afraid to bring any musical instrument you play, there’s nothing like a jamming around a fire pit and flame flinging hippies spinning fire. We’ll even throw in some fuel for you too!

Un año más llega la VI Muestra de artes Circenses CIRCOLMEDO.
Podreis disfrutar de espectáculos de calle, talleres de circo para toda la familia,galas de circo,pasacalles y mucho más.
Habrá un parking para furgonetas o caravanas al lado del pabellón donde podreis utilizar las duchas y servicios, y donde además tendremos algunas horas durante el dia para poder utilizarlo para practicar un poquito nuestras habilidades circenses.
Todas las actividades y espectáculos son gratuitos exceptuando la gran gala del sabado por la noche.

Camp Burn Yourself är en årlig nationell träff för utövare av eldkonst, jonglering, akrobatik, poi och andra underbart alternativkonstiga saker. Det första CBY hölls 2004 vilket innebär att årets CBY är nummer 10 i ordningen. Detta betyder naturligtvis jubileum vilket i sin tur betyder att vi slår på stort! Det första CBY hölls på Näshultagården och vad passar väl bättre för ett jubileum än att återvända till där allt började? 16/7 – 21/7 kommer alternativkonsten åter överta Näshulta! Bakom eventet står nätverket Eldsjäl, men du behöver inte vara medlem i nån förening eller ens ha ett konto på eldsjal.org för att få komma på Camp Burn Yourself.

Camp Burn Yourself is an annual national meeting for practitioners of fire art, juggling, acrobatics, poi and other wonderful alternative weird things. The first CBY held in 2004 which means that this year CBY is number 10 in the series. This means, of course anniversary, which in turn means we Goes Big! The first was held at the CBY Näshulta farm and what fits better for an anniversary than to return to where it all began? 16/7 - 21/7, the alternative art back over Näshulta ! Questo 2013 troverà La Festa del Fuoco di Stromboli con la nuova edizione dedicata ai “Corpi Celesti”, una coraggiosa commistione di significati fra stelle, pianeti ed acrobati. Corpi “Celesti” entrambi.

A partire dal 31 Agosto fino al 14 Settembre, com’è ormai tradizione, agli spettacoli di artisti internazionali si affiancheranno laboratori destinati al perfezionamento delle arti circensi per artisti di avviata formazione, ma anche per neofiti, ed inoltre sarà ulteriormente approfondito il rapporto fra musica dal vivo ed esibizioni.

Grazie all’acquisizione da parte del team della festa di un nuovo spazio, gli spettacoli avranno luogo non solo nei tradizionali percorsi dell’isola, ma anche in una nuova location, uno spazio naturale fra vulcano e mare, che potrà ancora meglio accudire le performance degli artisti e dei workshop.

2013 will see the return of the Festa del Fuoco di Stromboli with the new edition themed “Celestial Bodies”, a bold mixture of associations from planets and stars to acrobats. Heavenly bodies all.

From August 31 until September 14, as has become tradition, performances by international artists will be accompanied by workshops on the circus arts, flow and movement for all levels, and we will be further explore the synergy of live music and performance.

Thanks to the acquisition by the Festa team of a new space, the shows will take place not only in the traditional locations of the island, but also in a brand new location, a natural space between the volcano and the sea, the festival’s very own venue to better accommodate the performances, musical evenings and workshops.

Edinburgh Aerial & Acro Convention 2013

Edinburgh’s Aerial and Acrobatic Convention is in its seventh year of introducing arts such as trapeze, acrobalance, tumbling and aerial hoop to the Scottish public. The EAAC is the UK’s largest event of its kind and brings together individuals and groups from all over the country wishing to expand their existing practice through a wide range of workshops teaching new skills and arts.

This year we will be bringing in some of the top teachers and performers in aerial and acrobatics from all over Europe. We will be running about 200 workshops this year with arts not seen before in Scotland.

Wir sind wieder dabei, wenn auch in veränderter Form!
Wir möchten wieder ein Jongliertreffen am Bauernhof anbieten, in gemütlicher Atmosphäre im Grünen und beim Lagerfeuer zusammenkommen, jonglieren, gaukeln, Tricks austauschen, Akrobatik, Slacklinen, etc. ... wie eine Jonglierconvention halt so ist. Aber da es so gut wie kein Budget gibt, wird es heuer auch so gut wie kein "Service" geben. Das heißt konkret, dass die TeilnehmerInnen sich an allen Tagen mit Essen selbst versorgen müssen und es wird keine organisierte Open Stage geben.
Beachte, dass das nächste Geschäft 10 Minuten mit dem Auto oder 1 Stunde zu Fuß entfernt ist!
Es soll ein Jongliertreffen von und für jonglierende und an Zirkusartistik interessierte Menschen sein mit maximaler Selbstorganisation. Eine Bar, das heißt Getränke mit und ohne Alkohol, wird es geben. Es wird eine Grillstelle mit Holz geben, sowie bei Bedarf auch andere Koch- und Kühlmöglichkeiten. Wer einen Workshop an- oder eine Performance darbieten möchte, ist herzlich willkommen und wir werden die Durchführung nach unseren Möglichkeiten unterstützen.
Schlafen im (eigenen) Zelt. Bei Schlechtwetter Indoor-Jonglage im Stadl möglich.
Während des Wochenendes ist jede Hilfe und Eigeninitiative erwünscht! Die Idee ist es einer unkommerziellen und möglichst selbstorganisierten Convention Raum zu geben.

Wieserhoisl Juggling Picknick

We want to again propose the juggling convention on the farm. We want to come together in a nice and chilled atmosphere, in the countryside, by the bonfire at night. We want to exchange tricks, juggle, do acrobatics, slacklining, etc. ... same as a normal juggling convention. BUT: As we don't have a lot of budget we won't offer a lot of services. That means that participants will have to organise their own food on all days of the convention, nor will there be any open stage organised!
Please note, that the nearest shop is at least 10 minutes away by car or 1 hour walking!
The idea is to give space for a meeting by jugglers for jugglers and all other people interested in circus arts, with a maximum of selforganisation.
There will be a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There will be a fire place for barbecue and if needed other cooking and cooling facilities.
Whoever wants to propose workshops or performances is very welcome and we will support you to realise your ideas if we can.
Sleeping in (your own) tents. Indoor juggling possibilities in case of bad weather.
During the weekend any kind of help and self-initiative is very welcome! The idea is a non-commercial and self-organised convention!

Winter Jongleer Weekend 13

The Winter Juggling Weekend is one of the two yearly conventions organised by the foundation 'Jongleer Collectief Limburg' to encourage juggling and unicycling in the Netherlands, the province of Limburg, the Euregio and the city of Heerlen.

The main objective is participation! Enjoy the nice ambiance and learn juggling if you can't already, or learn more if you can!

What can I enjoy at the WJW?

The programme often includes:

• workshops for everyone willing to learn juggling or unicycling
• having fun juggling with your juggling friends!
• workshops for advanced participants by advanced participants
• indoor trials unicycling
• relaxation at the swimming pool!
• a stage to watch good and funny acts in the evening
• club combat tournament

De Skjève Conventie 3de editie

NEDERLANDS:

Circusclub Kortrijk “de Skjève Smeete” (voor de West-Vlaamse analfabeet: de schuine worp) presenteert voor de derde keer “De Skjève Conventie”. Deze rasechte jongleerconventie biedt gevarieerde workshops aan voor alle niveaus in een gezellige circussfeer.

Je zotste trucs door de lucht laten vliegen, met de éénwieler over het trialparcours zweven of even crashen aan de bar samen met je vrienden, het kan allemaal.

Circus JOJO voorziet een kraampje om je aan het allernieuwste circusmateriaal te helpen of om je bestaande assortiment uit te breiden. Dit jaar wordt er voluit voor een driedaagse gegaan. Camping is voorzien, breng wel zelf een tentje en slaapzak mee. Op zaterdagavond is iedereen, ook de minder motorisch vaardigen onder ons, welkom op de tribune voor knallende circusshows, om 19u.

We nemen een vliegende start op vrijdag 27 september (Pieter de Conincklaan 23a in Kortrijk). Inchecken kan vanaf 20 uur. We hopen op een geslaagde landing op zondag. Onze stewards staan ter plaatse klaar met een lekkere maaltijd en een uitgebreide bar. Ook de jongste jongleurs zijn welkom vergezeld van hun ouders of docenten.

Huisdieren zijn niet toegelaten.

Circus Kortrijk, 'De SkjèveSmeete', is very proud to present their third juggling convention: De Skjève Conventie. This pure-bred juggling convention offers a wide range of workshops for all levels. Learning new tricks, meeting new juggling friends or measuring your skills during the games? It's all possible. Bring along your newest juggling stuff and join us in Kortrijk. Has the dog just bitten your (juggling) balls? No problem! Circus JOJO will have a stall to provide you with new props or to extend your current assortment.

Camping is provided, or bring your own tent and sleeping bag. On Saturday, everyone, even the active among us, are welcome to the circus shows, at 7pm. Even the youngest jugglers are welcome accompanied by their parents or teachers.
Pets are not allowed.
