balance, 4 balls, 5 balls, 6 balls, 7 balls, 4 clubs, 4 rings, 75 minutes

good session with lots of progress on 6 balls and 4 clubs. Also did a lot of work on 3 club juggling under a club balance. Want to get this solid by the end of the year. Did some ring practice to keep sharp until the wind picked up.

Mostly full session, 75 minutes

Went between two rooms today, as there was an invasion of children (a science camp) in the first room I was practising in. One of the counselors asked if I'd keep juggling for a few minutes after they'd entered while the leaders set up a movie - sure, why not? The kids (and counselors) seemed to get a kick out of it.

#HLAIB went well. Really, practically everything went slightly above average. Managed to transition through each type of #4bdots without dropping, and did some easier variations that I'll probably include in a video. Sometimes, in my efforts to learn only necessary patterns, I miss some fun, easy, visually appealing ones. The example today was doing dots in one hand while doing a standard two balls in the other. It's pretty easy to get the timing such that the peaks match height and time, and the dotted hand throws at exactly twice the rate as the non-dotted hand.

Looking forward to shooting for the IJA TotM in October, I think I'll have some good stuff for it.

5ballPREP, 5 balls, 4 balls, 6ballPREP, 126 minutes

I began my session warming up (way longer than intended, infact, i ended up practicing) then i jumped into the 5b cascade, and practiced 5 throws,6,7,9,then short controlled runs, and a few longer runs. I noticed more control this time! Also, I practiced 5 5b cascade throws, followed by a 3, repeat, etc. I also tried adding more throws, then i found this cool exercise: You do 5 5b cascade throws, collect 4, then flash again, repeat. It doesn't make sense in my head, but it's possible, and u don't have to rush either. I don't think. It really seemed to help me out before practicing the longer runs.

Then I practiced the 3in1. I worked my way up to 7 throws, then for the fun of it, and to test my limits..I tried to get as many catches as i could. And a few times i got around 10-17, and once, i was able to get 31! new record! I was struggling a few times, but for the most part, it was under control. To make up for it, i ended up practicing really short runs (3-7 throws.) And ended off with what felt like a perfect pattern, 8 catches.

I noticed a few things:
1. I tend to make the first throw from infront of me, it's hard to explain. It's not really a problem. And this type of throw often doesn't get corrected, it interrupts the whole pattern so I have to stop and collect (just one throw)
2. To run the pattern smoothly, i have to let my arms go down. I discovered this today.

Then I practiced my routine.

Theeeeen, I created a new one, and was FINALLY able to run through it successfully without any drops. I practiced this one a little bit longer than i should have but i did it. I might record it, but it still needs work, and it feels awkward!

Also, I WAS going to post a video of me juggling 5 a few days ago, but i recorded side ways and i don't know how to edit videos very well. I'll get a better video (one that isn't sideways!) and post some time. i'm lazy tbh. I've been very lazy lately...i'm not kidding. I'm just glad i've gotten in the habit of juggling everyday regardless of how lazy i am. :P

7 balls, 9 balls flashing, 3 heavy balls, 5 heavy balls, #nature, 240 minutes

Repaired my small leather balls, 5 cm, 55 gr, for better 9b flashing, for 2½ hours.

3b freestyle, misc - 20 min.5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 5 min.   7-high: 113 throws; 5-high: 277 th. Very few even 9-high.   9b flashing - 60 min. (small leather balls)   Max 7 gathers; almost 8 g (three arm-body contacts, before fell). Once 9 c in reach.   A few well-spaced, well-timed patterns launched (spread, not `in line´)   7b casc - 45 min.   Rather bad; nothing counted over even only 35 th, just one longer run not counted. Not `got it´ right this unit.

(had to move, due to mowing) 7b casc - 110 min.   Not fresh, not all speedy, but forced some longer runs, one rather outstanding (not counted, but maybe ~>45 th + x). [ dailyLongestRun7b: 47 ]

#nature - surprisingly - 'cos no stones around and in the shade - a little lizard scurried over my Bubbles on my blanket and didn't mind me taking my nine balls just beside.
