7b_wizard - I' don't think, hybrids need necessarily be rotationally molded: with a thick material like silicone, acryl, with high viscosity, it suffices to press them into a form and let it dry.
7b_wizard - I did that - the ball is just too heavy, but it works. Next, one day, I'll cut a big playpit ball in half fill it half, press it round with a smaller diameter ball, then fill it, then join the two halves.
7b_wizard - Costs: near 0 €, but for the time invested.
7b_wizard - ° sry "fill, then filll" = fill a half big playpit ball with silicone paste, then, before joining the halves, fill with loose granular material (millet, plastic beads, conifer needles, whatever).
