157' - 5b rev casc - 82 cl (14'), 75 cl, 105, 75, 82 cl, 83, 72 cl, 89 cl, 87, 108, 99, 79, 76 cl, \\, 79, 82, hadn't been using the full available width especially with weakhand upto here (resulting in rather narrow unstable patterns), 107, 104, 111, 77 cl throws longest runs. #technique #endupatt #aiming #SoL - Got short phases with very relaxed low patterns, simply throwing over the pattern to the middle, or up to an outward aiming region in a slight inward angle, with some spacing to the rest of the pattern. #focus #technique #endupatt - Then also sth queer once again: what was (often exaggerated) "wiggling" with the shoulderbelt in past practise units (to get over a bad start or bad phase), today was ( an impression of (?) .. ) actually aiming fromout the shoulder (especially for weakhand side), the shoulder helping, sort of either finetuning or else, providing for the blunt rough basic movement (to then be finetuned by forearm and wrist). But in any case, the shoulder taking part in or even actually doing the aiming (or thinking the aiming fromout the shoulder's movement, an awareness of it), if that makes sense and anyone can follow that impression (or maybe it's `mental´, however, it worked for a few runs). Good practise, good yield, good feel .. gettin' there.

Too rainy, overcast, grayish-darkish, cold, windy outdoors. [ daily7b II: 0 ]
12' - 3b elroll-takes - got upto five or six in a row in a two-count. It's not as presumed yesterday a 423 variation, but indeed maintaining crossing throws(?), the cascade(?), a ``three-beat-all´´(?), (but it's unclear how to fit that roller into s'swap notation).
1' - 3b 524RO13 - fluent (but sometimes a few back to cascade throws in between).
153' - 5b rev casc - started with short controlled runs to find into an endurable pattern - 73 (12'), 99 cl (30'), 109 (60'), 93 cl, 89, 79 cl, 71, [ #mentec #focus #endupatt #ThinkAs ] tried throwing over the whole pattern into the middle upto here, but from now on aiming along the steep sides of an imagined trapezium (with shared flightpoint very high up there somewhere), thus throwing angles with portionned thrust in the first place, only then with secondary focus on right height, 77 cl, 83, 79 cl, 71, 90, 71 cl, 75, 74 throws longest runs.

30' - 3b rev casc varied - almost more to say here, than it actually lasted in realtime:
- Having had bad starts with 5b rev a lot, I figured varying 3b rev was a good idea.
- First revealed: a strongly tensed weakhand, even some recalcitrant small muscle in that forearm, which indeed explains my bad starts with 5b rev.
- with notably bent knees, I exaggerated wiggling (shoulder belt & hips, whole body in fact) to get the pattern running well,
- every once in a while I tended to do corrections as regular cascade throws ( I don't have that with 5b .. there's just no free space inside the pattern for that then ).
- Did step back 'n forth - ok,
- turn slowly once around anti- & clockwise - soso, needed full concentration to get full turns,
- pulse high\\low - ok,
- tried to find into an easy small low pattern - ok after a while
- wide - the "tendency" to correct with normal throws was an ""urge" here, but I got it pretty wide, but not easily,
- pulse wide\\narrow,
- pulse high & narrow \\ low & wide .. then also high & wide mixed into - all hard (anything with wide is hard), but got it all mixed once,
- more small low easy, now with stepping back 'n forth and peripheral view, gazing with #focus on background wall or changing focus on and concentrating on looking at different things on the bookshelf there (almost sort of completely forgetting the juggle) - took a while to get it pretty automized and a few steps back 'n forth.
85' - 5b rev casc - 79, 72, 82, 82 cl, 103, 89, 71, 97, 105, 99, 99 throws longest runs. Also here, need to ``settle´´, once I get the `perfect´ pattern (and motion & rhythm & mindstate & ado), need to stay in that stable pattern.

5b casc varied - 9 min. high. wristy.
9b flashing - 86 min. Six or seven times 8 gathers. Several >9 throws launches roundabout: 10, 11, 12, 12, 13 t 6 g, 13 t 6 g, 11, 14(?), 13, 12, or so. #SoL #focus - [And here's your next ``clue´´ for nine, folks:] "All of a piece"-launches: keeping focus on the first ball thrown during the whole launch then done from peripheral view (instead focussing on the crossing point or on whatever, then only later spotting that first ball), will make the whole rest of the launch better timed after that first ball's flight-time (and goes right into rethrows, provided it's become a good pattern).
7b casc - 134 min. 47, 49 throws longest runs. If I knew what might have been wrong, I'd have tried to fix during 2½h; but what if it's the colder weather that makes me do with colder, stiffer arms and muscles and joints(? but I'm not even needing gloves!?). But then again - I now while logging realize - I should do such a little in-between-varying-stint as I've done before (high, low, pull high down again, wide\\narrow, ..). Also, shoulders and forearms burning not at a limit, but more than usual. [ daily7b II: 49 ]

#conditions near perfect, but later (with 7b) contrasting bright and dark cloudy spots irritated a bit (and did shady ball-silhouettes only). A constant light rain wasn't powerful enough to moisten anything before the light wind had dried it already, so it was a welcome natural cooling for especially my forearms and shoulders.
5b casc varied - 3 min. 9-b-high. wristy 7-high.
9b flashing - 58 min. After an early 8 gathers, then 9 c in reach, I somewhat lost connection; noticed delays, even slips, of stronghand's ringfinger ball, so then focussed on holding that one tight enough which got me the next 8 g. After that, focussing back on good, well-aimed and well timed first two throws, thus increasing the chance for launches all of a piece, did a good rest of stint. #focus
Six(!) times 8 g. One 9 c in reach. A few 10, then 11, 15, 12 throws' launches.
The 9 c in reach launch in detail: I stopped the 7th ball to be caught, ahead with extended arm, caught the eighth. The ninth ball came falling down near me and I had to reach back near with that hand before I could fully grip the 7th ball so lost that one (= 8 g).
7b casc - 146 min. (41), 67, (43 unreasonable, dropbound), 43, 61(? 65?), 48, 43, 51 throws longest runs. [ daily7b II: 67 ]
Total practice time: 207 minutes
( after two partly chilly, down to 15°C and below, rainy days, now near perfect again and more warm & dry & sunny days ahead )
3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 12 min.
5 heavy balls, 200 gr casc - 5 min. Around 100 throws wristy 6-high.
9b flashing - 63 min. One million times 7 gathers. Two times 8 g. 11 throws into 7 gathers. 13 throws. (only rethrow attempts, i think)
#SoL #technique - new little insight / tuning: It struck me towards end of stint, that in the past I have been throwing the first two throws to abrupt, with abrupt movement up as if i were throwing from loose wrist, which doesn't make sense for the first ball from stronghand - a fifth ball on top of diamond gripped four others (and weakhand then following with its first launched fourth ball on the index where it would make sense to try wristy already, but so far, I let it ``follow´´). I am doing them a bit slowlier in any case, but somehow, I managed to even then do them in an abrupt way. If I do those two throws softer and explicitly get their thrust from forearms almost only, I should get more control over my launches becoming well structured (upto now, I wasn't sure, what exactly makes me sometimes get it well, sometimes bad). Gotta try like that again and track this.
7b casc - 128 min. 44, 43 cl, 43 cl, 44, 53, 53, 45, 49 cl, 55, 66, 53 throws longest runs. Pretty great yield, but I wasn't satisfied, for example, I lost several good runs on ~35 throws' mental (or whatever physiological) barrier, and also did tensed a lot and didn't easily get or stay in snapped-in patterns; no question of ``settling´´ in good patterns, which is my next step & level. Nonetheless, happy with a good yield of course. [ daily7b II: 66 ]
Also here, found yet a new aspect, "issue" even: #SoL #focus #endupatt - I am often focussing on stronghands' balls up for orientation, while I should rather partage my attention equally on any / both hands' last balls up. It's surely a result of my alltime stronghand \ weakhand asymmetry that never bothered me, but the issue is one of focus mainly. [Note to self:] Also work on, work with, and track this!
5b fastest - 5 min. (no long runs)
Total practice time: 208 minutes
9b flashing - 57 min. Five times 7 gathers, one of which almost 8 g (bumped out of reach from full weak catchhand). Two(!) times 8 gathers, one of which 9 catches in reach - for one millisecond I spotted them all for catch, but the last ones came to narrow and I was bodycatching arms to torso already. - Expecting that flash or more anytime now, especially when there will be fresher weather who knows when (today 30°+C, muggy, sweat running down my face like water) . [ #focus - ] I need to focus more on where I want pattern's top and let `the hands find the tunnels and sideways along the partly balls already up by themselves´ with that aiming area in that top in mind; and not so much focus mainly on throwing through the middle or angles or on width - for those latter things, the mere intention with one thought, before even launching, should be enough [ #mentec ].
7b casc - 140 min. 43, 47 cl, 43 throws longest runs. [ daily7b II: 47 ]
Total practice time: 197 minutes
3b 200gr, freestyle, misc - 17 min. Mostly fast and fastest ( doing rev--rev--normal--a.s.o. ).
[ rain made me change spot from rivershore meadow to plated area here ]
5b casc varied, s'swaps - 10 min. Tried first time ever 744 and got 4 throws.
1c flourishes - ~5-10 min. During 20' second of three rainbreaks, under small sheltered part of a hut there, did some flourishes with a birchstaff that I found there: normal flourishes seem to ``stop´´, swaying in the wrong direction before rethrowing them normally (or I'm doing them wrong), so they should maybe better flow into a shoulderthrow. Stopped that and did bottleneck catch + over pinky's palm backhandwards rolls + into bottleneck throw ("backhandrolls"?), which went well.
#nature - When watching the rain, waiting, I noticed sudden little steam jets that seemed to come out of the soil .. I imagined an insect or small animal originating these in some way I never heard of before, or maybe some rare chemical phenomenon (lithium?? sulfur??). .. It was cherry-pip-like little beige mushrooms it turned out, puffballs (that I know only much bigger, squash- or golfball size), i guess.
5b 56752 - 30 min. ( Gave up 9b flashing after a couple 'a minutes - moist dirt kept sticking to the dropped balls. ) Upto a 9 sides run to collapse. 6th and 7th sides clean or full caught.
[ rainbreak, under shelter: ] 3b cascade endure. fastest. - 10 min. Wanted no drops there (dirty + lotsa hidden corners there), did cascade pure, with focus on reflecting what attention and focus lie on, on what distracts, on where eyes and mind wander, on how it gets boring versus wanting to keep on doing: first, found, that I was losing stable shape and needed focus to keep the pattern in shape; then after a while of slaving to stable pattern rather dully, found, that I fancied to do some reverse throw for a change (but may not); my eyes could wander np as long as pattern was in peripheral view; did some "juggling lower" [according to Mike Moore's hint ] which feels queer to me and I wouldn't try that with another pattern - worked okay so far, dunno about any gain; still later - pattern still rolling on - asked myself if it wouldn't make more sense to do some 3b blind instead (but I may not) .. in a given moment, my hands corrected a flawly throw using a reverse throw and the ``experiment´´ was finished - pattern was still rolling, though - and I did a few attempts on closing eyes amidst the juggling (usually do full blind start for "blind"), which was where I got my drop. [ #exp #psych (?) #mentec (?) #focus #reflecting ] Did a bit fastest then too.
more 5b 56752 - 40 min.
7b casc - 150 min. 43, 49, 43, 51, 46, 43 throws longest runs. [ daily7b II: 51 ]
A bit chaotic of a session, but glad, I didn't lose too much time (like last two days) and got some good juggling done.
