Re: Juggling Chat

Fak does have a point, "jugglers' chat" and "juggling chat" are two different things. Now "marketing" is a big word, but for all purposes, it is the much broader "jugglers' chat": That is what I had in mind when I started it, that is what has turned out to be, and that is also (just checked to make sure) how [LP] describes it on the not-really-secret-but-not-really-public-yet-either website for the channel.

Actually, in total honesty, it's even worse: it's mostly populated by that tiny fraction of humanity that a) juggles, b) spends significant time in front of a screen and c) can use that screen to access archaic protocols.

I think we're doing a pretty good job at c) though, with lots of people using the web interface - A web page with instructions for a variety of clients people might already happen to have installed is going to make it even more accessible.

(I still don't like how Big Talk Timers are making me use this post, which I typed an hour before bedtime yesterday, to reply to LPs new post, breaking threading... sorry.)

LP/Kelhoon: My knaeuel server could host just about anything. If someone finds me an easy-to-install-on-debian solution for this, I might do it. That server will only exist as long as the hardware doesn't give up, though (bots and stats, too).

See you on ##juggling - may contain talk about anything.
