66th Annual IJA Juggling Festival 2013 HLGCBS

H: Jamming with the 3ballers (Peter, Dan, Andrew, and Michael mostly, but some of us Ontario jugglers are getting interesting too!)
Some of the acts in the shows. Especially the ones who were busting out novel, interesting tricks/patterns!
The workshops I went to were excellent. Well organized, the leaders knew enough to teach the topic, and I came out having learned a lot from each one.

L: Not being able to beat the blind juggling record. I did it in competition at RIT, but for some reason couldn't pull it together in the two days I was trying.
I felt the diaboloist was out of place in the CoS. Her body language and choreography was very tight, but her skill with a diabolo seemed lacking (I also thought her makeup was a little excessive).

G: Win something - CHECK! Extreme juggling 3b, which was my wildest dream. Simona says, as well, which was sweet.
Have all the IJA virgins have fun - check! Heard one saying today "it's hard to be at work when I know I could be having so much more fun"
Go to at least one Renegade - check! 2/3 ain't bad. Unfortunately, missed the Wes stripping act, which I heard so much about.

C: Ellen Winters - I loved Juggleology before meeting them, and love them even more now that I have. Ellen is super sweet, and it was interesting to hear her and Galen's thoughts on their acts.

Gabrielle Foran - super enthusiastic/energetic, she really got into her first IJA.
Emily Carlson - For always being the best.

B: I was pretty happy with everything. I guess I'll complain that it was killer hot and the food was far away, but that wasn't really a big deal.

S: Yousuke not getting first in juniors with his burly and creative routine. That guy was a champ.
Ashley doing the same act in the Cascade of Stars as she did in juniors. It was a very good act, but seemed out of place in the CoS.
Lots of frequent little things, like loads of apples appearing, pizza, burgers, etc. Tony's birthday cake was fun, too.
