Orinoco -

Spotted this muggle's take on combat on Facebook. I do enjoy reading stuff from people who use 'juggle' as a noun.

Haha, fun!

I've been approving every post and comment of his on /r/juggling 'cos he appears to have got shadowbanned double quick. Which is a shame because he may be naïve but he's hardly trolling, in fact he's making an effort to edumercate himself about 'juggling martial arts'.

As I may have said in another place, even philistines are people.

All really great. Not sure if real. Poe's Law. Etc.

I liked:

"USA vs. Europe – I’m not exactly sure how this would work. Presumably, you would find a combat juggling competition that involves people of both USA and Europe. I am not sure if such a competition exists. But, I do know, from this clip of four presumably American combat jugglers on the Steve Harvey show, that Americans are not good at combat juggling. This is ridiculous. The idea that those two Europeans in front of what appears to be the Dutch equivalent of a hipster convention are better than the entirety of these United States at a sport none of us even knew about is absurd."

Absurd but kinda true. Except the Dutch bit.

You're mentioned in the comments:

"Luke Burrage, the father of Combat Juggling in Europe"

Feeling like an old man yet?

I'm just curious as to why he was talking about it in terms of gambling... you can bet any any scenario happening, simple as that (assuming a bookmaker has offers it)! It's a shame he didn't suggest a parallel with horse racing trifectas.

Fun read, and looks like his site is generally a good addition to the internet. I didn't know how much I wanted a site like this until now.
