Hi!
I've made a new juggling video. Also i realised why I don't make videos very often:
Finding an acceptable camera angle + lighting: 2 hours.
Filming: 1 hour (forcibly, my camera shuts off after 1 hour).
Finding a good song: n/a.
Editing: 5 hours.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
Contains: box tricks, juggling with headbouncing, juggling without looking, bodythrows

Awesome tricks Julius!
Yes, I understand your problem.. Too bad making a video is more than just turning on the camera..
I am aware of your tutorial, but how did you get the blind above the head so stable you can even do the foot catches while juggling??
Oh and I love the 2b inside elbow bounces, I am going to try that!
Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks Daniel!
Once a trick works fairly good, I start playing around with it: do easy combinations with the trick in it, try fun ways to get into the trick, walk around/sit down/.., play with the height/speed of the pattern.
For me that's a good (that means fun) way to practice/make tricks stable; and I did exactly that with the overheads.
Juggling overhead+footcatches has an additional challenge: I have to focus on not moving my body while doing the footcatches, since otherwise the pattern over my head gets out of control.
:D I like the elbow bounces as well.. definitely give them a try!
I really enjoyed that, thank you. Despite only juggling balls you certainly manage to pack in a lot of variety. Excellent choice of music too which suits your style & made this video a very chilled & relaxed one to watch.
I do have one gripe though which hopefully won't add any more hours to the creation process. Could you adopt the Anthony Gatto/Thomas Dietz naming convention? I'd find Julius 1, Julius 2, Julius 3, Julius 4 much easier to follow than Julius new juggling video, Julius' newest juggling video, new Julius' new juggling video & Julius' new juggling video!

I love the idea of future historians talking about the origins of Julius tricks... "I saw it first in 'Julius new video'" "Are you sure? Wasn't it 'Julius's new video'?" "Maybe.. Or the 'new new video new' one"
I get that my humour might be a little off.. but I think it's hilarious :D, so no, won't change it.
Also, thanks to Daniel, I thought I was running short of titles, I haven't thought of "Julius's"!

I find your titles quite charming. They're fun to talk about, it almost feels like a "Who's on first" situation.
Yeah, you tell em julius!!! Your titles are boss. Don't listen to the haters;) jk.....

:D
Btw, people at facebook are wondering what your last name is, so they can vote for you at the next top40... It has been discussed at the Edge here before, I don't know if you read that, but now Mike assumes that your last name is Caesar...
let me guess.......I like doing this sort of thing;) hmmm......google is powerful........alrighty here's a list of possible last names:
1.Hudacek
2.Mount
3.yego(s)
4.Novick
I bet none of these are right;) but hay, it was fun trying to find it!!!
No, actually all of them are correct!
Except for number 3, its written with a capital "J" and a "z" at the end.
My (almost) full name is
Julius Hudacek-Mount-Jegoz-Novick-Caesar. Although I'm only 25 I have married and divorced quite a few times, accumulating these names.

In all seriousness, not having your last name was the reason I didn't vote for you last year =(
It flatters me that you want to vote for me on this poll.
I don't really want my full name around on the internet, although it is already through my own stupidity - so there's hope you might find it if your'e good at googeling.

I am going to vote for Julius New, just for the sake of popularising that name!
I think this is a good idea. Also Julius New is a hilarious suggestion.
Any more suggestions before I start a poll in which we decide my New full name?

Julius Waldorf
Maybe it's just my brain that works like that though
which I am (good at googeling that is;) .......I think I found your real last name. But don't worry!!!!!I wont post it!!! It took my 1 hour of searching.....
You don't need a cognomen to be voted for in the Juggler of the Year, Luke told me I received a vote one year.

Very nice as always. Some truly amazing sequences in there. I really love the way you're integrating the back-throws and overheads to the rest of your juggling. Your overheads to BBB to overheads is super smooth. Great video.
Thanks a lot, Pete!
It may not look like it, but this trick took me quite a while to get on video - i can quite easily get it one time (bbb to overheads) but two times in one run takes a few tries.
A friend challenged me to do it so maybe otherwise this trick wouldn't be in the video.
