Anyone got a collection of the Fliktriks1 books? Fancy recording a flick through & putting it online? I had a copy of Georgian Shuffle/Eating the Apple but I can't seem to find it any where.

1 Much loved flick books illustrated by Martin Bedford from the early 90s for those that don't know.

Fliktricks are on my list of "things I really wish I'd kept, and collected"

So while I can't help, I would be interested in seeing said flick-through

Last I heard Martin Bedford is still active in graphic design in some way ... but I can't for the life of me remember when I heard that!

I'm pretty sure Richard Gillett will have a full set, or if not could get a set from Martin, and I'd guess Mike Armstrong and Charlie Holland might well have them as well. Plus a few other now-superannuated candidates - for instance Charlie Dancey, Ben Cornish, Tarim, various Oddballs, and so on.

I now have vague memories of them being republished a couple of years back

It looks like serious juggling in the states might still have them https://www.seriousjuggling.com/juggling-books.htm

I had never heard of these, what a fun idea! I was once recorded juggling some oranges for 3 seconds in a flick through book, but I think I threw it away... But to use it to explain tricks... why not recreate some?

About 4/5 months ago (Random) Mike Wilkinson came to Milton Keynes juggling club with lots and lots of FlikTrik books in really good condition along with lots of copies of The Catch. He gave anyone who wanted them the magazines but kept the FlikTriks and was planning on seeing if he could sell them. He can be contacted via storychairarts(at)gmail(dot)com or via his website randommike.com

Jon you should have asked me as I have the full set.

Hahahahaha! Now that you mention it I vaguely knew that too!

Can you bring them along on Tuesday? Archie has a decent phone camera, I'm sure we can bully him into doing technical things like pointing it in the right direction & pressing record. The light in the kitchen is a lot better than the hall so we can set up a studio in there. We'll have to have a fat finger comparison to see whose thumbs will obscure the pages the least.

Don't forget to run them forwards and backwards.
