If it's a bit quiet today that may be because everyone is at BBU 2013, Kinetic Fire 2013, Forchheim Juggling Convention, Ann Arbor Juggling Arts Festival, 3rd Annual Sturtevant Camp Juggling Festival, Bibasse, Schokon 3, ŻeLKa, 27e Nederlandse Acrobatiekfestival or Fiesta dei Folli.

While struggling to consistently do a one turn aeroplane with the kendama I had a flash of inspiration. You can get the ken to do lots of spins very easily by resting it flat on a surface before tugging on the string.

Not quite an aeroplane because it doesn't really swing but I just pulled off a 4 spin (I think).
