If it's a bit quiet today that may be because everyone is at BBU 2013, Kinetic Fire 2013, Forchheim Juggling Convention, Ann Arbor Juggling Arts Festival, 3rd Annual Sturtevant Camp Juggling Festival, Bibasse, Schokon 3, ŻeLKa, 27e Nederlandse Acrobatiekfestival or Fiesta dei Folli.
The trick of the evening last night was trying to skip a rope & juggle 2 in one hand at the same time with the aid of a friend. To be precise - one hand swings the rope, the other hand juggles 2 balls & a friend swings the other end of the rope. This proved remarkably difficult as throwing while jumping adds a surprising amount of height to the throw.

My best attempt was all of 3 catches. Simon & Beth both got a few more than that but not many. From a probability point of view I should have been able to run this trick for longer but most of my attempts failed because of a wildly high throw being whipped away by the rope coming over my head. There is no way I could whip a ball out of the air that often if I was trying to do so.
Check out this jump rope juggling trick. Nope he does it with a head pedestal balance. Not even Rastelli did that.
