If it's a bit quiet today that may be because everyone is at BBU 2013, Me Río del Valle, London Hoop Fest or BUC.
Cross-posting this auction news from Stephen McGinley over on RJ , for the history boys. (Topper, Rob Murray's props?)
Hi,
Someone sent me this link to an auction happening 20th September. I'm sure
some people here would like to have a look at some of the lots.
The auction is called:
"Children's, Conjuring, Private Press and Modern First Editions"
http://www.bloomsburyauctions.com/displayitems.php?section=sales&all=juggling&author=&title=&descr=&search=Search%3A
or for the full list

Stephen.
I spotted the link on rec.juggling. There is a lot of nice stuff up for grabs but I try to steer clear of the "collector's item" premium. I'd like to know who actually does buy this stuff?
Possibly more interesting would be who collected these items in the first place? From the autograph here one of the collectors was Mr J Turnbull of which Google says there are many.
That chap Joe Marsh is possibly another.
Stuart Fell owned the Gintaro stuff a while back, according to Charlie on an old RJ post. Don't know how he came across it tho'.
The Rob Murray lot sold for £280, so including fees and tax would be about £350.
I should have put a higher bib in.
