In this workshop Maksim Komaro looks at juggling from several perspectives.
Various technical exercises with balls and clubs lead the participants to studying and focusing on the smallest details in their juggling.
Maksim Komaro is one of the driving forces of circus art in Scandinavia. In addition to his own artistic input as a circus artist and director, he works as a circus trainer around the world. Komaro is active in the development of the Finnish contemporary circus scene as the chairman of the Board of Directors for Cirko - Centre for New Circus and the Finnish Circus Information Centre and as a member of the Artistic Committee of Cirko - Helsinki Contemporary Circus Festival. In 2004 and 2009 he was awarded with a five-year artist grant from the Finnish Government. Komaro brought to life and jointly ran the yearly festival for new and experimental juggling -the '531' and is one of the two artistic directors of contemporary circus company Circo Aereo.
